Megan just finished her junior year as an Advertising major in the College of Journalism and Communications at the University of Florida. With a strong background in social media and project management, we are excited to have her join the team.

After giving her a few weeks to settle in, we sat down with Megan to ask her a few questions and get to know her better.

What about marketing and advertising interests you most?

My favorite aspect for marketing is branding. I love the idea of taking a company and giving them a fresh look that will draw a new audience.

When you were applying for internships, what drew you to S4?

Funny enough, it was the website. I feel like I stalked every ad agency in Jacksonville, and Station Four was the agency that really stood out to me. I liked how I could see the personality of the company through the employee bios, and the clever way the copy was written.

Are there any types of projects you are hoping to work on this summer?

I’ve already gotten a chance to see how the agency works and how people work together on projects. I also really want to be exposed to coding, so I can seeing how websites are built.

I’m definitely hoping to figure out how to get better at MarioKart, too.

So, why did you choose Pocahontas for your Funko Pop figure?

Pocahontas was my favorite Disney Princess growing up. I think I’ve seen the movie over 100 times, so it seemed like the right choice.
